Swedish songstress Gabi Fröden gave up her clarinet for the piano at the age of 14, and we're all very glad she did.

Charming the pants off Greenbelt audiences under her moniker Foreign Slippers for the past couple of years, she's recently released her new EP "It All Starts Now", and has spent a lot of time touring with the likes of Duke Special, Aqualung and Iain Archer.

Her voice is unique in all the very best ways - expect haunting lullabies drawing on folk & gospel - and to miss her is to miss a treat. And probably an amazing hat.
