Keep Calm Gallery was established in January 2007 by Lucas Lepola and Hayley Thwaites while the pair were studying at university. The site launched with the work of Lucas and Hayley along with their popular silk screen reproductions of the 'Keep Calm and Carry On' World War Two poster. The couple collaborate on all of their designs, which often reflect their shared interest in the art of the handmade, memorable sayings and simplicity in design. Excited by the prospect of creating an online source of affordable art, the pair began inviting some of their favourite artists, designers and printmakers to join ranks and work alongside them in order to make it happen. Keep Calm Gallery now features the work of ten artists, each bringing something different and unique with their work.
