The Garden thinks of itself as an experimental project; an emerging community based in Brighton, Sussex, living obscurely on the fringe of religious life ... ... and seeking to work out how to live passionately in response to the 'other' in ways that embrace the artistic, the intellectual and the practical and which challenge us to take seriously matters of justice, compassion the planet. The Garden is drawn to the poetics of life, gesturing and hinting at things that lie beyond language and thought, things that can only be glimpsed 'out of the corner of the eye'.
