Today the church is awash with different expressions of faith, expressions which appear to challenge every aspect of church life in an endeavour to revive the life-transforming message embedded within the Christian tradition. But what if the changes that so many of these ‘new forms’ are making actually ensure that nothing really changes? What if what we are faced with today is little more than the revival of various neo-evangelical, crypto-evangelistic strategies that operate within the same basic co-ordinates of that which they wish to critique? In this session Peter explores the possibility of radical faith collectives that do not merely change the way we express faith but rather which fundamentally ruptures and transforms the way we understand it.
