During the industrial revolution when coal burning was darkening the skies of Britain William Blake described energy as 'God's eternal delight'. As Christians we find our moral and spiritual energy for life from the daily infusion of the grace of the Holy Spirit. If we are to prevent the planet burning up from climate change we need to recover a deep reverence for the planetary energy that fuels our daily lives.
