Youth scratch choir

Craig is organising the Greenbelt Scratch Choir. His first visit to Greenbelt was during the storms of 1986 when he failed to get in the Big Top to see Fat and Frantic. A Year later he was performing with them on Mainstage and stayed as bass player until their demise in 1992.

He directed the MAYC Orchestra and Singers for 9 years, bringing them to Greenbelt 4 times. As a freelance director and arranger he has worked for Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, Channel 4, David Fanshawe and BBC Songs of Praise. He has written string parts for Matt Redman, Andy Piercy, Kim Hill and Sheila Walsh among others, and is currently Music Director of Young Voices UK. He once played in a charity football match for Fulham FC against a team of one-legged men (and lost).
