Miller’s Ark Animals

The Mobile Farm concept embraces the desire to bring children and adults into close contact with farm animals – inspiring interest and respect for them, while providing an exciting experience in the security of their own environment. It includes sheep and lambs, goats and kids, piglets, miniature donkeys and ponies, rare breed poultry, ducks and geese, hen and chicks, giant rabbits, guinea pigs and a farm dog. The emphasis is on touching and feeding the animals to build confidence and awareness. The welfare of the animals is paramount throughout and only those happy with a lot of attention are used. Miller’s Ark Animals was established in 1991 by Elizabeth Miller, as an offshoot of her main farming business and has expanded steadily every since. An integral part of Miller’s Ark is the programme of very popular demonstrations which take place regularly throughout the day and usually include:
Rabbit and Guinea Pig Handling Chick and Duckling Handling Pony and Donkey Grooming

All these demonstrations are carried out by experienced farming people, who share their experiences and anecdotes with you and they place great emphasis on involving you hands-on throughout. Miller’s Ark Animals brings the sights, sounds and experience of the farmyard to Greenbelt. Their selection of rare breeds and traditional animals includes:

African Pygmy Goats Shetland Ponies Miniature and Standard Donkeys Sheep – traditional and rare breeds Huge Brahma Chickens Giant Rabbits and Guinea Pigs Pet Lambs Pet Goat Kids Ducks and Geese in their pond Tiny Bantam Hens Maori Kune Kune Pigs Irish Moiled or Belted Galloway calf

All the animals are home-bred, very friendly and well-used to children.
