Talkin\' Trash in the Homo No Mo Halfway House

Peterson Toscano, a US-based theatrical performance activist, uses comedy and theatre to explore the spiritual issues behind homophobia and identity. Toscano, a Christian, spent 17 years and over $30,000 in the US, the UK and South America, attempting to become a heterosexual. His commitment to change and his relationship with God helped him to dig deep into himself and the Bible to come to understand that not only is being gay and a Christian possible, it is one of God\'s gifts to him. Lauded for his flawless transformations from character to character, Toscano creates whole worlds on stage and carries his audience through laughter and tears into broader understanding.
