Trevor Barnes is an award winning journalist and reporter for the BBC’s Religion and Ethics Department. He reports for Radio 4’s “Sunday” programme and BBC World Service Radio’s flagship religious current affairs programme “Reporting Religion”(both of which he presented for a number of years).
He has worked in BBC and commercial radio and BBC television. For many years he was a current affairs reporter on “You and Yours”. “The World at One”, “PM” , and “The World Tonight” while simultaneously contributing general features to the Radio 4 output. He is a freelance feature writer for The Times, The Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Express, The Independent, The Mail, The Evening Standard and also contributes feature material to a number of magazines. In addition he writes an occasional column for The Church Times.
He is the author of nine books – including two best sellers, a book on world religions, and a children’s Bible.
