Steve Hollinghurst

Steve Hollinghurst works for a the Church Army as a reasearcher in the Sheffield Centre. He works to enable the church to communicate effectively with the increasing numbers of us who have no church background.

Traditionally this would have been called evangelism, but Steve’s role is about thinking beyond such traditions. Rather, he sees evangelism as a journey of discovery between seekers across many faiths and spiritual traditions ? to which he brings his own Christian tradition.

His latest book is called Coded Messages:Evangelism and The Da Vinci Code which looks at how the best-selling Da Vinci Code taps into a conspiracy culture which distrusts authority and organised religion.
