Paul Field

?Cargo? is written by Paul Field who has been a Professional Composer, Songwriter, Singer & Record Producer for 30 years. He?s won an Ivor Novello award from The British Academy of Songwriters, a Dove award (and 2 Nominations) from GMA Nashville and several awards from ASCAP in America.

He has written and produced songs on many Gold & Platinum records for artists around the world. Cliff Richard, Avalon, Wynnona, Rebecca St. James, Jennifer Knapp, Point of Grace, Phil Keaggy, Elkie Brooks, Tammy Wynette, Jaqui Velasquez, Natalie Grant and Michael English are among those who have had hits with Paul’s songs. He’s also written and produced Children’s songs, music for Theatre,Television and Advertising and recently worked on several projects in partnership with Christian Aid.

Paul has written seven musicals which have been widely performed. ?Hopes & Dreams? (which was produced along similar lines to those intended for ?Cargo? in terms of local Choir & Cast involvement) toured nationally to an audience of more than 45,000 and has been produced by more than 500 local groups everywhere from large Theatres to small Churches.
