Noel Moules

Noel Moules is a thinker, teacher and activist for peace, justice and deep ecology. He is the creator and director of the Workshop programme for applied spirituality (www.workshop.org.uk), a founder member of the Anabaptist Network UK, and also an Associate Tutor at the Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre in Birmingham.

Noel’s first book was ‘Fingerprints of Fire, Footprints of Peace: a spiritual manifesto from a Jesus perspective’. He is currently working on his second book, ‘Christian Animism: Jesus spirituality and community within the sacred wild’ (see www.christiananimism.com).

The biblical vision of shalom undergirds his theological understanding. He has spoken at events as diverse as Spring Harvest, Greenbelt and Pagan Pride, and much else besides.

Noel was born in India to missionary parents and spent his formative childhood years in the foothills and forests of the Himalaya.

He is married with three adult children, an ethical vegan. He loves interfaith conversation, world music and every kind of wilderness.
