Written by award winning screenwriter Murray Watts and starring actor Andrew Harrison, Mr Darwin’s Tree has been commissioned by theology think tank, Theos, as part of its Rescuing Darwin project. Written during the bicentenary of Charles Darwin’s birth the play was premiered in Westminster Abbey to great acclaim. It focuses on the relationship between Darwin (an agnostic) and his wife Emma (a Christian), and issues around science, faith, love and human destiny.
