Kat Francois
Kat has performed extensively both nationally and internationally and her first CD ?Blessed with Words? was released last year. She is currently working on her first book of poetry. March 2006 saw the debut of her one-woman show, One of Seven, an hour-long autobiographical piece. She is in the process of finalising a European tour for this autumn.
Kat was BBC3 Slam Poet Champion in 2004, World Slam Poet Champion in 2005, and host and creator of ‘Word4Word’, a poetry and music night and ‘Word-Up Slam Show’, a slam night, both held monthly at the Theatre Royal, Stratford East, in London.
