Jorella Andrews
Jorella Andrews is a lecturer in visual cultures at Goldsmiths, University
of London. She is also on the editorial board of Third Text, an academic journal that provides critical perspectives on contemporary art and
culture.
Her broad interests are modern and contemporary art and art theory
but her research is particularly focused on a branch of modern philosophy
known as phenomenology ? her PhD was on the work of French
phenomenologist Maurice Merleau-Ponty. She is currently working on two
books ? Showing Off: Ethics and the Image-World and Material Thought.
