John Hutchinson

John studied at Bradford College of Art and then worked in Covent Garden, London as a free lance illustrator and then lived for some time in St Ives, Cambridgeshire where a book of his sketches of the town were published in 1990. He has completed murals for a school in Beverley, Yorkshire and the Methodist Church. Since moving to South Wales he has found a new interest in animation and has recently finished an animation feature of ‘The Secret Garden’ for S4C.

Solo shows at Crayford, Sevenoaks, Stockwell College, Bromley and St Ives, Cambrigeshire, Llanelli, Pontadawe, Llandaff, Cardiff and Amandford.
He now lives in Brynaman with his wife Jean.
