The Center for Action and Contemplation, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was founded in 1987 by Franciscan Father Richard Rohr. It would serve as a place of discernment and growth for people wanting to learn how to integrate a contemplative lifestyle with compassionate service/action. The Center’s purpose is to help people tap into and trust their deepest spiritual intuitions and bring their passion to the world. ACUK (Action/Contemplation UK) works to spread this message and mission to such spiritual seekers in the UK.
