This year, Greenbelt is launching a 3 year campaign to raise awareness of the issues involved in the Israel-Palestine conflict – and, in particular, to highlight the oppression and injustices being suffered by the Palestinian people. At the heart of this campaign there is a core principle:

• A Just Peace for Palestine is in the best interests of all Palestinians and all Israelis. It will end the conflict and enable people to rebuild their lives in this troubled region – as well as enhancing the prospects of peace worldwide.

What can I do?

Our Just Peace campaign is aimed at people who come to the Greenbelt festival and, through them, many others.

The Greenbelt Trustees are asking Greenbelt supporters to engage with the issues and to take action. Sometimes we can act together. At other times it will be down to individual or small group action in your local community. But it all adds up to create more awareness and to help bring the issues to the fore.
