Leunig – Exhibition in Cheltenham
Lovers of the Australian cartoonist, philosopher, poet and artist Michael Leunig will have a rare opportunity to see some of the great man's work up close and personal at the end of the month.
Ten handpicked pieces of Leunig's work will be shown in the exhibition Linger at the Parabola Arts Centre in Cheltenham, along with work by local artist and Greenbelt contributor Gillian Lever. Although very different in their approach, both artists are eloquent in the mysterious language of the soul. Linger is a show that promises moments of beauty, transcendence and sublime simplicity.
And for Leunig collectors, the exhibition is even more unmissable, as there are some rare artist proofs sourced direct from the artist's studio available to purchase.
The exhibition is presented in conjunction with the HSBC Cheltenham Music Festival, and runs from Wednesday 29th June to Sunday 10th July. Opening times can be found here. Entry is free.
