Greenbelt 2011 Newspaper – Aspiring journalists required…

Over the past two years, we've been producing a newspaper on-site over the festival weekend, using tweets, photos and blogs gathered at Greenbelt. To see what the teams managed to pull together in a very short period of time, you can download PDFs of the newspapers - the 2009 issue, and the 2010 issue.

This year, we're doing things a little differently. In conjunction with our media partners Church Times, we're offering twelve aspiring journalists aged 16-24 access to the whole newspaper process - from reporting and reviewing around the site, writing copy, design and layout, and marketing and distribution. Working with experienced mentors from the Church Times and Greenbelt community, you could be interviewing your favourite speaker, writing that review that captures the experience of being there, or choosing the perfect photos to tell the story.

If you'd like to get involved, and you already have a ticket for this year's festival, please fill in your details in the form below - we'll let the twelve successful applicants know by the end of July. (Any queries, do email tom@greenbelt.org.uk)

We look forward to seeing your brilliant and beautiful work!
