XLP Mobile Studio at Greenbelt – The Results!
The XLP Mobile Studio was onsite this year, offering young Greenbelters an opportunity to lay down some tracks and get the full studio experience - albeit in the back of a converted police riot van.
Created by Pimp My Ride UK (see the video here) and donated to XLP, a charity working with young people in London, the mobile studio can normally be found touring estates, schools, and pupil referral units, engaging people in positive, creative and educationally valuable activities.
At Greenbelt 2010, around ten Greenbelters (with help from Chris and Leanne from XLP) completed two tracks - "See Me" and "Looking Sideways" - with plenty more young people hanging out, supporting friends and getting interested in XLP's work.
You can download the two tracks by right-clicking on them, and saving them onto your computer:-
The team behind the songs are:-
