Meet Chaz Jankel from the Blockheads – and win Greenbelt tickets!
If you're in Brighton, then you have a chance next Thursday to not only meet one of the pioneers of punk music, but also to enter a raffle to win some tickets to this year's Greenbelt!
Chaz Jankel is a key member of The Blockheads*, who - with the legendary Ian Dury - wrote "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll", "Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick", "Reasons to Be Cheerful" and "What a Waste".
He's appearing at The Space on 1st July, a monthly arts and media event in Brighton which "brings together the creative community with special guest interviews". As well as Chaz, an appearance is planned from acerbic music critic, and TV comedy writer, David Quantick.
Not only this, but you can enter the raffle, featuring many great prizes, including tickets to see the Pet Shop Boys, Blockheads goodies, and - most importantly - a family ticket and accommodation to this year's Greenbelt Festival!
The Space takes place at The Basement in Kensington Street, Brighton, on 1st July. Tickets are £7.50 on the door, or £6.50 if you book in advance online.
