Outerspace is a group of LGBTQI greenbelters and their friends who meet at the festival.
Over the past 10 years we’ve contributed to the programme and worship in a variety of ways, seeking to share our stories and to enrich the churches’ dry deliberations on gender and sexuality with some Greenbelt realness. We come together to become ourselves, before each other and before God.
This year we’ll be celebrating a very special communion on the Saturday evening, and we’ll be getting together socially in the Jesus Arms on Sunday night. And you can come and meet us in the Takeaway throughout the festival to find out more about the groups from which we’re drawn, and who sustain us, and to get more involved. Whoever you are, and wherever you are on your journey of life, faith and identity – you’re welcome here.
