John Davies is rector of six parishes in South Somerset. A Greenbelt regular for many years, he has spoken at previous festivals on subjects relating to his epic 2007 two-month journey across the north of England, recorded in his book Walking the M62 (Lulu Press).
He has also interviewed his psychogeographical collaborators Bill Drummond and Iain Sinclair on Greenbelt stages, and for five years coordinated Soul Space at Cheltenham.
He leads workshops and retreats based on the songs of Sydney Carter, writes occasionally for the Church Times, Coracle and Third Way, and blogs at johndavies.typepad.com.
He is married to Diana, has five adult stepchildren and a cairn terrier called Lily.
