Joe Walker lives in Hackney, East London. He has a background in international development and political activism – his professional life straddles both worlds.
He co-founded street children charity Street Action, recently worked for Gordon Brown on his global education campaign and is vice chair of the Labour Campaign for International Development.
He is actively involved in the Labour party in Hackney North, serving as Vice Chair of the CLP. He is a keen cyclist in his spare time.
