Fr Chris Bedding is an Anglican Priest, Comedian and Activist.
Ordained at 23, he has served in diverse contexts including schools, parishes and the ecumenical movement. He is currently Rector of Darlington-Bellevue in the Diocese of Perth, Western Australia.
Fr Chris appears regularly in comedy and improv venues in his home town, and at festivals across Australia. He is one half of the comedy duo Pirate Church, and has appeared in the Theatresports National Championships.
As President of Changing Attitude Australia, Fr Chris has advocated for marriage equality and full inclusion for LGBTI people. He is a strong advocate for the rights of workers. He has a particular passion for rights of asylum seekers and refugees, and is a leader in the Love Makes A Way movement.
