Dr Tim Hutchings is the William Leech Postdoctoral Research Fellow at CODEC, a research centre at Durham University focused on Christian communication in a digital age.
Tim is a sociologist of digital religion, and his research has analysed online churches, online evangelism, virtual worlds and digital Bible apps.
This year, Tim is working with local communities around Newcastle and Gateshead to create a pilgrimage route accompanied by a mobile app full of art and stories.
Tim is worryingly enthusiastic about science fiction, and would like to be much better at baking cakes.
