Andii Bowsher is a chaplain at Northumbria university. A background in linguistic science and an interest in culture and spirituality led to experiments in group praying, trying to get free of the special prayer voices, jargon phrases and odd grammar that we tend to use.
“Praying hidden in plain sight” is the latest phase in an ongoing experiment in rediscovering the everyday as means of spiritual practice. Andii has been priest in several Anglican parishes and also helped train people for ordination in theological reflection, worship, mission and spirituality.
