With the more predictable line of income they provide (independent of ticket sales and the vagaries of the British weather) we can think about inviting a wider range of performers to Greenbelt and offer a better range of venues to host them in.

Initially, the Angels were our means of safeguarding Greenbelt and making sure it continued to exist! But we're moving into another era now. Tentatively, we're inching from crisis toward sustainability. We hope we remain unusual and vital as a Christian Festival and that we can be a vibrant sign of creative Christian community at a time when many people are writing off the Church. And, with the support of our Angels, we want to grow in this role. Because, with Angel help, now we can spread Greenbelt's wings and watch the Festival really take off.

Each year, more and more new (and not so new!) festival-goers join the family of Greenbelt Angels. Angels are Greenbelt's bedrock. And, as its beating heart, Angels generate a steady flow of cash and creativity for the festival all year round.

So, if you feel that you belong at Greenbelt, would like to help secure Greenbelt's future, want to stay in touch with Greenbelt year-round, then you're well on your way to becoming a Greenbelt Angel!
