Derek Hill (Chair) is a business owner, greenbelt volunteer, potter, photographer, maker of things....not always in that order.

By day he runs a business making special seating for wheelchair users www.contour886.co.uk.  He would describe himself as 'A Maker'. That can mean sometimes getting all artistic and sculptural, on holidays he can often be found  casting ripples on beaches for a ceramic project, and has exhibited another piece at an exhibition in Leeds. Other times just plain old DIY, from decking to treehouses. Basically he's at his happiest when he is creating things. He's currently hooked on Instagram, a photo sharing app, you can see the results here.

A longtime Greenbelter, he booked the Visual Arts programme for a few years & is now Chair of the Programme Group.

Pippa Wragg (Music) - Biog TBC

Kari Stewart (Talks)  heard a lot about Greenbelt before she finally had the chance to experience it for herself in 2007. Her (quite high) expectations were not only met but far surpassed, and now she can't imagine a summer without the Festival. She is an American transplant living in north London and is the studio manager for the design group BERG. Most of her time outside of work is monopolised by her one-year-old daughter, Elisabeth, who was a big hit at her first Greenbelt last year. When she gets time to do anything else, Kari enjoys cooking, pop culture, second-hand shopping and endeavouring to lead a more generous & sustainable lifestyle.

Ben Edson (Worship) lives with Ruth, Jude and Lily in God's holy city of Manchester. He is an Anglican minister and part of sanctus1. He blogs too much - see benedson.blogs.com and he writes a bit, dreams a bit, plays a lot and loves coffee, wine and Erdinger. He's fascinating by contemporary spirituality and spends his time marvelling at the unexpected places in which God can be found. He's been coming to Greenbelt for about ten years and has been involved in planning worship at the Festival for the last four years. In 2007 he led the communion service with sanctus1 (the one with the balloons) and discovered the joys of camping with an eight week old baby!

Harry Napier (Classical) - Biog TBC

Ben Whitehouse (Literature) lives in Telford, Shropshire with a rather large, rather ecletic collection of books that he fears will one day fall on him and crush him to death. He works in the project management office of the transforming education department of Birmingham City Council. In his spare time he enjoys reading, seeing films and seems to blog and tweet about things that cross his mind. He's been involved with Greenbelt over the last five years in various roles and has an abiding affection for the festival and the delightful people who he's met through it. Ben's young nephews and nieces refer to him as being "silly", which he's rather proud of.

Mike Anderson (Film) - Biog TBC

Dafydd Watkins (Children's Film Programmer)
Having worked hard to get a BA in film and TV studies and then promptly move to the other side of the career world and get a job in leadership development, I thought it would be good to put my three years work to some use. I consequently got involved in Greenbelt as a member of the steering group for the film programme and most recently as lead programmer for the children's film programme. Spiritually, Greenbelt is my time for relaxing (the hard work for me should be finished by the time I've pitched my tent). I always look forward to soaking up the atmosphere, taking time to enjoying the festival and the fruits of our labour, and maybe watching the odd film while I'm at it...

Helen Morant (Comedy) - enjoys going to gigs, talking, radio, drinking and, of course, comedy. She works at a medical journal in Britain, where she is responsible for helping to educate doctors using e learning, conferences and networking. She was born and bought up in Bath, and has lived in Nottingham, Sheffield, Adelaide (Australia), and has settled (for now) in London. She has worked as a cleaner, a doctor (anaesthetics, if you're interested), librarian, radio producer, podcast presenter and comedy compere. Dabbling in stand up in a very unprofessional manner, she's looking forward to bringing comedy gold to Greenbelt.

Alice Parker (Children's and All-age) has been a part of Greenbelt for as long as she can remember and on her first visit to GB took her evening bath in a washing up bowl - how times have changed! Her fondest memories of Greenbelt are sitting around at Main Stage in an evening, listening to a variety of bands and nibbling on delights from the food vans surrounding as well as some how endin up playign a conch shell on mainstage during communion a couple of years ago!!!

Alice is a full-time primary teacher in Tottenham and was inspired in part by her working with children at Greenbelt, alongside other youthwork and volunteering at holiday clubs - ans shows how much Greenbelt can both influence a career, and also use professional skills developed in the workplace. Alice has a heart for community children's and youth work and has recently been involved in the "Soul in the City" project in Kings Cross where she led a team transforming an inner city estate playground.

Alice has moved up through the Children's festival, eventually taking charge of the Children's team on site in 2008 and has now taken over as Programming lead for children's activities after the 2010 festival.
