New and newsworthy
Greenbelt has a special place in people’s hearts. For me, it all started when I attended my first festival in 2002 at Cheltenham. I was 12 years old and I instantly loved it. At the age of 18, after a friend was unable to attend, I volunteered for the first time.
As we sell the last few tickets of the 5,000 weekend tickets we’ve made available so far for this year’s festival, we wanted to share with you a bit more about the practical things, the things that will be different and developed after our first year making a festival at Boughton House last year.
It’s not every day you get to caper on the lawn of a Duke.
This week, we’re proud to celebrate a clutch of great women who will be on the bill for this summer’s Greenbelt Festival, The Bright Field.
What they say
“Greenbelt is an inspiring and fascinating celebration of social justice, breaking down barriers between those of faith and no faith. It’s not only good fun – it lifts the hearts of all of us who believe in a better world.”
“My first trip to Greenbelt revolutionised my view of the vitality of faith in the UK and I have been telling stories ever since. What a remarkable gathering!”
