New and newsworthy
ArtAction, the group which brought the live link with the Project Fukushima Music Festival to Greenbelt in 2012, is a collective of artists, curators, gallerists and writers who are exploring various means to show solidarity and support for people who have been affected by natural and manmade disasters.
Once, there was nothing and then there was something; everything.
As we go back on sale for Greenbelt 2015: The Bright Field, here are just a handful of the early names on the bill for this summer to whet your appetite. There’s lots, lots more to come over the coming weeks. This is just an early taster.
What they say
“Greenbelt is an inspiring and fascinating celebration of social justice, breaking down barriers between those of faith and no faith. It’s not only good fun – it lifts the hearts of all of us who believe in a better world.”
“My first trip to Greenbelt revolutionised my view of the vitality of faith in the UK and I have been telling stories ever since. What a remarkable gathering!”
