We're bringing people from across Europe to perform and participate. Last year the YMCAs discovered that they have an enormous treasure of talent and creativity throughout the 38 nations of Europe. We've captured some of that and are bringing it to England this August.

We're creating a YMCA village to ensure the safety of all other Greenbelters! This will be the third year of the Spiritual Maze, a must for everyone. The hottest rendezvous point at Greenbelt is the 24 Hour Cafe. The cleanest operation is the Shower Block managed by YMCA for Greenbelt.

The YMCA's engagement with Greenbelt satisfies two of our needs: We need to work with other Christian organisations, to give expression to the Gospel story in a variety of ways. We like the performing and creative arts approach. We need to provide opportunities for younger people and their leaders to experience a variety of spiritual dimensions in their lives and to find supportive Christians ready to listen to their doubts and aspirations.
