Barak: the blessing and the curse…
The tree of life symbolises much of the Christian journey as an experience of joy and struggle, exile and belonging, desert and oasis, intimacy and isolation. This service will wrestle with these seemingly irreconcilable themes, as we attempt to be authentic Christians in a post-Christian world.
Look out for two silent worship films from Moot: Moot Moments – finding the divine in the city in the everyday, and The Tree of Life is Planted… a City is Built – exploring this ancient symbol of the cycle of life and death in the context of our urban lives today.
