Michael Wakelin and Mark Dowd talk about the programmes they have sold to the BBC and independent networks, the problems they encounter with the commissioning process, and the general health of religious programming on TV.

Michael Wakelin is Head of Religion and Ethics at the BBC. He has worked for the BBC for over 20 years in TV and Radio. Mark Dowd is an award-winning documentary presenter, whose programme Tsunami - Where Was God?recently won the Radio Times readers favourite Religious Programme Award. Their talk will feature illustrations from their recent programmes and will be followed by a time for questions.
